Young contestant Bidipta Chakraborty’s performance made the mausam musicana in Indian Idol 13!

Making #MausamMusicana, Indian television’s most popular singing reality show Indian Idol premiered its 13th season on #SonyEntertainmentTelevision. The audition round showcased some of the finest musical voices who came to try their luck for becoming India’s next singing Davedaar. While many contestants stunned the judges with their performance, 17-year-old #BidiptaChakraborty ’s performance made the mausam musicana.

During her audition round Bidipta from Kolkata took over the Indian Idol platform with her mind-blowing performance. The contestant, who was accompanied by her parents on stage, delivered a sensational performance on ‘Dil Deewana’ wooing the judges with her melodious voice. She also revealed about her desire to become a renowned playback singer.

Judge Neha Kakkar complimented her, “You are very beautiful. There is a sense of divinity and innocence in your voice that made your performance extraordinary. You will go a long way. Wishing you all the best.”

Bidipta shares her experience, “I was living my dream while performing during the auditions for Indian Idol 13. I was nervous but the judges made my comfortable and that boosted my confidence to deliver my best. I will work hard to become India’s next davedaar.”
