TKSS pays tribute to late Rahu Srivastav, the Indian comedy fraternity joins in!

A nostalgic evening filled with beautiful memories, emotions and laughter awaits you this weekend! Saluting the ‘Badshah of stand-up comedy’, Sony Entertainment Television’s The Kapil Sharma Show will see renowned comedians – Vijay Ishwarlal Pawar (VIP), Khayali Saharan, Ahsaan Qureshi, Sunil Pal, Rajiv Thakur, Navin Prabhakar, Rehman Khan, Suresh Albela, Rajeev Nigam, Rajat Sood, Jayvijay Sachan, Kettan Singh come together on the biggest comedy show to pay a be-fitting tribute to the late comedian, Raju Srivastav this and Sunday, 8th and 9th October at 9:30 pm.
The Indian comedy fraternity lost its brightest star in the form of Raju Srivastav and to commemorate his work, all these 13 comedians will honour him in their respective style of comedy and talk about their fond memories they shared with late Indian comedian, Raju Srivastav.
Known to leave his guests in splits with his witty humour, host Kapil Sharma for the first time will be seen getting emotional while he talks about his friend, late Raju Srivastav and the time they worked together in the show. The host will also go on to sing Raj Kapoor’s legendary song ‘Jeena Yaha Marna Yaha’ that still touches millions of hearts making everyone emotional. While we all have seen Raju Srivastav in many avatars Kapil will reveal how he once fought with a cable guy just to watch the legend perform on screen.
Not only this, but each comedian will also perform in their signature style honouring the beloved comedian and talk on how he has been an inspiration to each one of them in the comedy genre. Khayali Saharan will share his warmest memories with Raju in the form of poetry while Navin Prabhakar will showcase his popular ‘Pehchan Kaun act’ as he talks about the late Raju Srivastav.
