IMDb celebrates Karan Johar’s Birthday differently
IMDb celebrates filmmaker Karan Johar, one of the most prominent filmmakers from Indian cinema, as he turns a glorious 48. With several box office hits under his belt, Karan Johar has proved his directorial chops over the last couple of decades. However, when not wearing the director’s hat, Karan enjoys getting in front of the camera and showcasing his acting skills. Along with his appearances on the small screen as the audience’s host and dost and as a judge of various reality shows, Karan also has a long list of movies and TV shows as an actor to his credit.
Karan Johar made his first acting debut in sci-fi TV series Indradhanush (1989) followed by a later appearance in Yeh Meri Life Hai (2004) in 2016. Johar’s acting credits in Bollywood kick started with one of the most popular romantic dramas ever, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (1995). Since then Karan Johar has showcased his acting skills in movies like Bombay Velvet (2015) and Welcome to New York (2018) and made special appearances in Kal ho naa ho (2003), Home Delivery: Apko…Ghar Tak (2005), Alag: He Is Different….
