A gold “Shagun Ka Sikka” awaits KBC 14 callers!
This upcoming week, Sony TV’s ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati- Season 14’ celebrates the festival of lights Diwali, acknowledging the importance of relationships. With full festive fervour, Sony Entertainment Television’s knowledge-based gameshow, “Kaun Banega Crorepati- Season 14,” would be celebrating the auspicious occasion of Diwali from 24th to 28th October. Initiating the festivities, host Mr Amitabh Bachchan will give a beautiful speech about the value of relationships, dubbed “Roshni Rishton Ki,” and declare the week of celebrations to be in honour of “relationships.” A week dedicated to the festive spirit, ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati- 14’ would be inviting its viewers to come and celebrate Diwali with the brilliant contestants who would be gracing the hotseat, being witness to the light that knowledge brings to the lives of people.
Getting the ball rolling on the festivities would be rollover contestant Ayesh Vaidya, the 25-year-old from Nagpur, Maharashtra. The Analyst and IT Service desk specialist would have his father’s dream come true as he would take to the hotseat. Next up, for the first time, a contestant from the beautiful islands of Andaman and Nicobar would be coming to the hotseat in 22 years. Dr Samit Sen, the 28-year-old would have grasped the curiosity of everyone, including the host, talking about the beautiful isles of the Union Territory. He would be enthralling the audience with his curious tales from his hometown in Port Blair and invoking everyone’s interest in visiting the islands.
Following him would be Chanchal Singh from Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, the 31-year-old Assistant Professor at an Engineering college. Her tales of her bond with her brother-like pet dog, Shera would melt hearts. A patient of multiple psoriasis, Chanchal would be showing great courage talking about her diagnosis and how she helps herself in treating the ailment like taking Kathak classes. 22-year-old Soniya Singh from Mumbai, Maharashtra would impress Big B by talking about how she wants to be a lawyer and is now interning under a CA. Her adorable bond with her siblings would warm many a heart, especially her younger brother who would call the host “Crorepati Wale Uncle” over a video being played and tell him how he would not give anyone even 1 rupee after if his sister wins 7.5 Crores.
Dr Rohit Gupta the 37-year-old from Jalandhar, Punjab who is an Assistant Professor of Animal Science, would amaze everyone with his patient gameplay where he would go on to win a great amount, even after exhausting all lifelines. Lastly for ‘PlayAlong Shukravaar’, Rahul Nair from Barabanki, UP would make everyone emotional with his desire to buy a spacious house for his parents.
The celebrations would include two new added festive elements. A silver “shagun ka sikka” would be presented to each hotseat contestant. Not only that but also a gold “shagun ka sikka” would be presented to some surprise callers. Now Mr Bachchan would not only be present on the tv screen but also on call. Calling unassuming people, Mr Bachchan would be presenting the platform of KBC and himself as a sweet Diwali surprise which would overwhelm and excite everyone who is being called.
