Review : Avatar : The Way Of Water : Stupendo Fantastically Fantabulous!
Viewers who gaped at the technical brilliance of 2009 movie #Avatar will find #AvatarTheWayOfWater still more engrossing while others may term it as. Stupendo Fantastically Fantabulous film. Obviously the technical aspects of this sequel have gone a notch up and with emotional angles thrown in it has become more appealing. But the action and emotion doesn’t come in way of each other. This time around James Cameroon takes us from the lush green jungles to the Aqua Marine world. The way of water lets you enjoy the beautiful underwater visuals and it teaches one to evolve in love irrespective of the surroundings.
Jake Sully (Sam Worthington), a human turned Na’vi and his wife Ney’tiri (Zoe Saldhana) leave the forests for saving the future of their children from the warring Sky people i.e. humans from earth. Colonel Miles Quaritch (Stephen Lang) is after their lives and to protect their clan they shift base to ocean. Metkayina, the oceanic clan, gives them a refuge and teaches them the survival techniques of underwater battles. But Colonel Miles Quaritch finds whereabouts of Sullys and comes after them to their hideout to finish them. How Sullys tries to protect themselves and the Metkayina clan form the crux of the narration which is spell bindining and exotic.
James Cameroon takes this sequel to another high with technical brilliance and adding emotional angles to the narration keeps viewers engaged throughout. His imagination and it’s execution is very high level and never misses on entertainment.
He touches upon the importance of environmental conservation and human’s greed. With extremely high production values, this sequel is a visual extravaganza. Also the runtime of 192 min doesn’t let you scroll your mobile or look at your watch. The oceanic beauty is captured magically and the enchanting world of oceanic people is presented in a beautiful way. The climax is shot outstandingly and is hypnotic as well as mesmerising. It’s worth a second watch.
