In ‘KBC Juniors’, Mr Amitabh Bachchan reminisces about P.T Usha in conversation with contestant Japsimran Kaur!

#JapsimranKaur, the 14-year-old from #Jalandhar, #Punjab will be seen on the hotseat of Sony Entertainment Television’s prestigious gameshow, ‘#KaunBanegaCrorepatiSeason14’ on Wednesday, 21st December, for ‘#KBCJuniors’. Playing the game well, Japsimran not only impressed the host, Mr #AmitabhBachchan with her charm and tattle-tale persona on Tuesday, 20th December but on Wednesday, as a rollover contestant, her backpack will be full of more stories and amazing moments.

During a question which P.T. Usha is a part of as one of the options, Mr Bachchan will be seen taking a trip down memory lane lauding P.T. Usha. Elaborating further, a source from the set reveals, “Amitabh sir praised P.T. Usha by talking about what a great athelete she is. He then narrated how once, when he was in Los Angeles where the Olympics were held, he along with his friend were the only two Indians attending the Olympics there. When his friend got to know that P.T. Usha was running in the hurdle race and was about to win, he and his friend got up and cheered for her. According to Mr Bachchan, she won the race but she secured 4th position in the finals. She felt very bad but she was representing our country and it was a huge deal.”

Looking at our little genius’s love for her grandmother, Big B will be speaking about how emotional everyone gets when it comes to their grandparents as they hold a special place in everyone’s heart. The host would relate to the contestant as he also has immense love for his grandmother just like Japsimran. A source close to the set shares Mr Bachchan will be talking about the loving environment of Jalandhar. Shares the source, “Big B will talk about how the environment of Jalandhar is beautiful, people there are very affectionate and care about each other a lot. He felt nice, looking at the love Japsimran has for her grandmother. He hoped her love stays the same for her grandmom and asked the contestant to remember the teachings she got from her grandmother as it is very important and one should not forget these teachings ever.”
