A galaxy of stars, including Asha Parekh and Tanuja, attend the special screening of ‘Jubilee’!

Prime Video hosted a glitzy and glamorous premiere for it’s much awaited upcoming Amazon Original series Jubilee. Directed by Vikramaditya Motwane, created by Soumik Sen along with Motwane, the series is produced by Andolan Films in association with Reliance Entertainment and Phantom Studios. Held on the eve of the show’s release, the cast and crew of the series were spotted all decked up for the big premiere night. Celebrities and friends of the cast graced the screening to shower their love and support for this drama, showcasing the period of Indian cinema in all its glory.

The premiere was attended by the ensemble cast of the show, Aditi Rao Hydari, Aparshakti Khurana, Wamiqa Gabbi, Sidhant Gupta and Nandish Sandhu alongside James Farell, Head of International Originals, Prime Video, Aparna Purohit, Head of India Originals, Prime Video, director Vikramaditya Motwane and the music composer Amit Trivedi. Celebrities like Ananya Panday, Ayushmann Khurrana, Tahira Kashyap, Rajkumar Rao, Patralekha, Sayani Gupta, Siddharth, Harshvvardhan Kapoor, Rasika Dugal, Mukul Chaddha, Ishwak Singh, Varun Mitra, Gurfateh Pirzada, Mini Mathur, Rhea Chakraborty, Sanya Malhotra, Rahul Bose, Isha Talwar, Kubbra Sait, Javed Akhtar, Shabana Azmi, Shreya Dhanwanthary, Kritika Kamra graced the blue carpet. Anurag Kashyap, Imitiaz Ali, Sriram Raghavan, Vasan Bala, Nikkhil Advani, Sudhir Mishra, Nikhil Dwivedi, also attended the premiere.

But that’s not all, the team also sprung a surprise prior to the premiere. Continuing their efforts to showcase their love for the golden era of Indian cinema and pay a hat-tip to the yesteryears, Aparna Purohit and Vikramaditya Motwane invited and felicitated the influential leading ladies of the yore – Asha Parekh and Tanuja for their invaluable contribution to Hindi films.

The night ended with much love for Jubilee from the attendees, who were in awe of the immaculate and grandiose world-building, sensational characters and the nuanced ode to the golden age of Indian cinema.

Set in the early days of the Indian film industry, Jubilee is a thrilling tale woven around an ensemble of characters and the pursuit of their ambitions and love, along with a celebratory ode to cinema. The series has a stellar ensemble cast led by Prosenjit Chatterjee, Aditi Rao Hydari, Aparshakti Khurana, Wamiqa Gabbi, Sidhant Gupta, Nandish Sandhu, and Ram Kapoor, and features an evergreen soundtrack composed by Amit Trivedi

Directed by Vikramaditya Motwane and Created by Soumik Sen and Vikramaditya Motwane, Jubilee has been Produced by Andolan Films in association with Reliance Entertainment and Phantom Studios. Part One (Episodes One-Five) of Jubilee will premiere on April 7, with Part Two (Episodes Six-10) releasing the following week on April 14.
