Following the immense popularity of the longest-running crime based docu-drama #CrimePatrol, Sony Entertainment Television has brought back this popular show in an all-new avatar with Crime Patrol 2.0. Ever since the show has gone on-air, it has kept the viewers engaged with its gripping narrative revolving around some of the most heinous acts of crime from across the country. With a fast paced and edgier treatment given to the show, Crime Patrol 2.0 will revolve around the lives of the men in uniform who protect the city from gruesome crime and have close encounters with such treachery that is beyond our imagination! Taking the thrill quotient a notch higher for the viewers, popular actor #VimarshRoshan will be seen essaying the role of Police officer Sudesh Thakkar in Crime Patrol 2.0.

Acing numerous characters across films and television for the past 14 years Virmash is extremely thrilled to be donning the Khaki for this iconic show. Excited about this new journey with Crime Patrol 2.0, Vimarsh shares, “Crime Patrol has been an iconic show. No matter how many shows coming up on the same theme, this show has its own fan base which makes it immensely popular. Crime Patrol 2.0 not only showcases some of the most gruesome and spine-chilling crime mysteries but also sheds light on the lives of police officers beyond their uniform.”

Giving some insights about his character, Vimarsh adds, “Sudesh Thakkar is a very disciplined and abled Police officer. He has a very organized way of solving crime. He hates when things don’t go according to his plans. You can say he has a kind of OCD, which has become a part of his personality that reflects on his work. He is very dedicated to his duty and can go to any extent to justify it. I can very well relate to the character as I see a lot of similarities between us, making the role a lot easier. Playing a cop is a huge responsibility as an actor and I am giving my hundred per cent to it. I am looking forward to the audience’s response to my character and the upcoming episodes.”

Crime Patrol 2.0 airs every Monday to Friday at 10 pm on Sony Entertainment Television.
