A sweet surprise is awaiting at KBC13 for Harbhajan Singh!
Tonight’s episode of #SonyEntertainmentTelevision’s #KaunBanegaCrorepati13 will see cricketing legends – #HarbhajanSingh and #IrfanPathan grace the #ShaandaarShukriya episode. Playing a pitch perfect game with host #AmitabhBachchan, the duo will be seen talking about their love for cricket and share many moments from their life that they’re grateful for.
During a conversation, Big B surprises Harbhajan by showcasing a video of his wife, Geeta Basra who speaks highly of her husband and talks about how he’s been a doting father. Not only this, adding another element to the surprise, his daughter, Hinaya Heer Plaha also makes an appearance in the video making Harbhajan emotional.
After the sweet video, Amitabh Bachchan asks Harbhajan to talk about the changes that came into his life once his daughter was born to which, Harbhajan said, “Sir, when my daughter speaks, it makes me very emotional. I am so attached to her that that sometimes I feel only God knows the depth of it! Maybe, it’s only when I became a father is when I understood the meaning of, ‘parenthood,’ because when I was 13 or 14 years old, I went to a hostel in Chandigarh to play and my parents dropped me off. I was there for 3 years and, if they wouldn’t have left me there, then maybe I wouldn’t be the, ‘Harbhajan Singh.’ It was an emotional moment not only for them but for me as well. It takes a lot of courage to take the decision of staying away from your child so for me, it gets very difficult when I leave my house.”
The winning amount will be donated to the great causes of NGO – Tera Tera Foundation of Harbhajjan Singh’s, which helps in building houses, providing food and free education for the underprivileged kids followed by Irfan Pathan’s foundation named after his father Mehmood Khan S- Pathan Public Charitable Trust which helps in providing underprivileged and economically backward segments of the society.
