Aanushka Ramesh’s fashion idols are Kendall Jenner, Donatella Versace, Roberto Cavalli

Aanushka Ramesh, popularly known for her role of Sona in “Canada Di Flight”, calls model Kendall Jenner and Italian fashion designers Donatella Versace and Roberto Cavalli as her fashion idols. She said, “They have pushed the limits and created fashion which is edgy, stylish, and with a unique identity of their own. I like things that are different from the norm and that’s what creativity is all about.”

 

The young actress was recently in Dubai for a calendar photoshoot, which was one of the first international shoots to take place post-COVID. Sharing her experience, she said, “It was truly thrilling and challenging. Having the opportunity to travel after months of lockdown was a big plus. We had a great team of stylists Sanya and Anshula, designers Shilpi Ahuja, TS Chauhan, among others, and a wonderful makeup team of Rashi Garg, Aditi Datta, and Shradha Kapoor. They truly made me look like a diva.”

 

“We shot in beautiful locations like Burj Khalifa, Dubai beach, Dubai desert as well as a yacht while sailing on the Dubai Marina. It was a pretty unique shoot and the calendar will be launching soon. There were also some challenges as we had to follow a lot of procedures due to COVID, and we could only shoot in limited numbers due to social distancing norms,” she added.

 

Aanushka, who will soon be seen in “Mangal Ho”, also spoke about the competition in the modelling industry and said, “I think competition is in any profession. However, I don’t focus on competing, but rather on creating what I want.”

 

“I think a little competition is healthy because it helps you to improve yourself and do better. Also, I like challenges and enjoy them! I think with the right focus, determination, and patience anything can be achieved,” she concluded.
