Aasif Sheikh, Aayudh Bhanushali and Gazal Sood’s prep for eerie Halloween party!

Like clockwork every October 31st, Halloween sweeps across the globe, and here in India, we dive headfirst into the spooky festivities with unparalleled enthusiasm. It’s a universal celebration that knows no age boundaries – both the young and young-at-heart don their spookiest attire, delight in the age-old “trick-or-treat” game, expertly carve out menacing jack-o’-lanterns and come together for merry gatherings to chase away any lurking evil spirits. &TV actors are also excited to prepare their ghostly costumes and play amusing tricks. These include #AayudhBhanushali (Krishna, #DoosriMaa), #GazalSood (#KateSingh, #HappuKiUltanPaltan) and #AasifSheikh (#VibhutiMishra, #BhabijiGharParhai).

Aayudh Bhanushali, aka Krishna from Doosri Maa, shares, “After completing my midterm exams, I have made the exciting plan to host a Halloween gathering at my place. My objective is to turn it into the most thrilling event possible. Collaborating with my mother, we have devised a menu filled with Halloween-themed delights featuring monster-shaped snacks and cupcakes oozing with blood-red filling. We’ll serve beverages in a cauldron, accompanied by eerie music, to craft the perfect Halloween ambience. To up the fun factor, I have decided to play playful pranks on my friends and cousins. Additionally, I’ll suspend a terrifying demon mask from the ceiling to spook anyone who enters – all in good humour. After the event, we plan to enjoy scary horror movies and share spine-tingling stories. Happy Halloween!”

Gazal Sood, aka Kate Singh from Happu Ki Ultan Paltan, shares, “One of the Halloween escapades that still haunts my memory is from a few years ago when I celebrated with my friends. We threw a modest costume party, and our creativity knew no bounds – from cats, witches, and vampires to some wildly unique outfits, we had it all, totally owning the Halloween vibe. We devised a crazy lineup of competitions, like pumpkin carving, apple bobbing, Halloween bingo (where calling “boo” was a real winner), and a treasure hunt that had us shrieking like banshees. These games created unforgettable moments and hilarious mishaps, solidifying this party as a candidate for the Hall of Fame. Sadly, this year, I might have to ghost my friend’s Halloween bash because of a shoot I’m scheduled for. But fret not, I have got a sinister plan to prank my co-stars Zaara, Somya, Aryan, Sonal, and Sanjay – imagine their makeup room turning into a haunted house with a ghost mask and an army of fake mice and insects (insert wicked laugh). So, to everyone out there, have a spooktacular Halloween!.”

Aasif Sheikh, aka Vibhuti Narayan Mishra from Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai, shares, “Every day on the set feels like an eternal Halloween party (chuckles). I am practically the chameleon of the show, cosplaying as different characters left and right, turning our regular workdays into a costume carnival. In my epic nine-year tenure, I have strutted around in over three hundred distinct outfits. Some of the spookiest include me channelling Annabelle and pulling off my best Joker impression. And don’t get me started on my knack for playing a bhoot (ghost) – I have got haunting down to an art form. But since it’s the month of Halloween, I am all fired up to transform into a Siberian lady. I have been binging Instagram videos of her, and let me tell you, her dance moves are off-the-charts hilarious. I am secretly plotting to sneak some of that humour into our upcoming episodes – imagine a Siberian lady shaking it up on our show! Stay tuned for some spooky laughter.”
