‘Abhay 2’ has powerful action sequences, but Kunal Khemu did not take any special training

OTT platform Zee 5 has entertained the viewers with the best crime-thrillers and now it is winning the hearts of the audience with the second season of Abhay. ‘Abhay 2’ #TheRoadToJustice is one of the most unpredictable crime thrillers, featuring a strong group of villains.

Talking about the preparation of his character in this series equipped with strong action, Kunal Khemu shared, “I enjoyed playing Abhay’s character. I love watching crime and investigative series, so to be a part of such series was a great experience. As far as the action is concerned, it didn’t require any special type of training as it has been limited to hand-to-hand combat so far. I really enjoy doing the action. And if a particularly complex action piece is included in a future season, we’ll definitely be preparing accordingly.”

In the second season of Abhay, Asha Negi and Nidhi Singh will be seen acting alongside Kunal Khemu. At the same time Bidita Bag, Raghav Juyal, Indranil Sengupta and Aseema Vardhan will appear here in a never-before-seen villain avatar. The second season has meticulously focused on each character, making it one of the most awaited crime thrillers. The story and the story of all the villains have managed to keep the audience tied to their devices.

Zee 5’s franchise ‘Abhay’ was highly praised for its first season. The story revolves around an investigating officer Abhay Pratap Singh, who understands the mindset of a criminal. He can go to any extent to solve a case, but in the end he is confronted with the demon within himself.
