Actress Hansa Singh’s solo gratitude trip to Dubai, gets recognised at a coffee shop!

To unwind quite a few artistes from the entertainment world visit foreign soils so that they can roam around without being recognised, which is not possible back home. But obviously Indian celebrities are followed all over the world one way or the other and similar thing was experienced by actress Hansa Singh.

Actress Hansa Singh has been to Dubai for a 10 day visit and had a blast. Speaking about her solo trip she says, “This was my solo gratitude trip to Dubai. It was my visit to the country after 14 years ( like a vanvas – Ramayan ). I remember earlier it was always for shoots during 2006/2007 for Kajal Geo TV show. But this time it was pure vacation mode. I have made some new friends and also met up with old pals.”

So what all did you explore in Dubai? She says, “I was just being a tourist in the city. Liked the Desert Safari as I love dunes and the adrenaline rush it provides. Being a solo traveller I have met others on the trip. Dubai has the perfect cosmopolitan blend I breathe for. The most romantic thing which I have done on this trip was when I went to Burj Khalifa – on Valentine’s Day and then visited the Dubai Expo 2022.”

As we all know Dubai is a shopper’s paradise so what did you buy? “The malls are huge in Dubai, so I tried to explore as much as I can. I have got some nice shoes and good clothes and a few fancy stuff which attracted me.”

Hansa adds, “Travelling is all about unleashing yourself from the tangles of your beliefs and thoughts. Meeting new people as you get to know about their culture. Like I met my birthday buddy on Desert Safari ( 2nd March born ) and then I also bumped into a fan. I was at Starbucks for a cup of energy booster coffee. After I have placed my order the guy at the counter says “You are Hansa Singh … actress”

And was like I didn’t pay by card so how do you know my name? He says I am your fan and follow you on Instagram. I was pleasantly surprised. I guess that’s the power of social media.” When asked about Hansa’s dream destination she says, “My dream is to travel the whole world! But yes in the bucket list – Turkey, Greece are priorities. I love their culture and food.”
