Akshay Kumar shot for Corona Awareness documentary, for Central Government

As everyone is coping up with multiple lockdowns, life seems to be coming back to normal though slowly. Because of embargo on shoots, no shootings were happening, resultantly no new shows were telecast. As the theatres are closed and no film shoots happening, all the actors and technicians are sitting idle. Governments, both Central and State, are trying to bring people’s lives on track but corona threat is still looming around. To educate people about this deadly disease Central Government is making a documentary called Corona Awareness.

Akshay Kumar participated in the shooting of a documentary Corona Awareness shot at Kamalistan Studios for Central Government. R. Balki is directing the documentary. Today Akshay Kumar launched the revamped logo of one his brands via webinar. With everyone locked up in our homes, according to him, digital launch seems to be the new normal. The actor launched the revamped logo digitally via e-press conference following the Government’s norms of social distancing.

When the actor was quizzed about his plans to resume shooting, the actor responded, “Even I what to know (laughs). I am sure not only me but everyone is eager to get back to work. Once the lockdown is lifted all of us should start working for ourselves, our families and our economy. Till then, it’s all about spending time with your loved ones.” Talking about the current situation the country is in, Akshay said, “ I have been doing meetings and script narrations through video calls, catching up on films and new shows and spending time with my family. I feel we are lucky to be privileged to stay safe at home and be with our families. But, this is only possible because of our frontline warriors. I would like to sincerely thank them. It’s because of them that we are alive.”
