Anup Upadhyay says, ‘I’ve been working with Sanjay and Binaiferr Kohli for the last 15 years’!
#AmarUpadhyay as #JaldiramSharma in ‘#JijajiChhatParrKoiiHai’ has been making the right kind of noise. Actually his association with producers #SanjayKohli and #BinaiferrKohli goes back for one and half decade. He has been part of their shows, FIR, Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain! , May I Come In Madam, Excuse Me Madam.
Upadhyay feels the title of the show itself is mysterious and therefore draws everyone’s attention. It also hints at ghostly elements. The actor who has grown up listening to such stories from his grandparents had encountered a spooky experience once in his life.
“Once while staying over at a friend’s house, I was sleeping in his balcony because the weather was pleasant. I remember hearing the sound of gungroo and even my friend, who was sleeping inside heard it. We both got scared,” he shares.
Jijaji Chhat Parr Hai was a hit show, therefore there’s a lot of expectation running on this one. “That’s natural. We have to take it a notch higher every time and we are working on that. If the audience like it again then we exist. The entire team is working hard. Our director Shashank Bali, our producers Sanjay Kohli and Binaiferr Kohli, our writer Manoj Santoshi, creative head Harshada, actors and other techinicians are under pressure to give our best,” he adds.
Making people laugh is the quite challenging for any actor. “It is a team effort when it comes to a show. The writing, performance, camera work, lighting etc, everything needs to be in place. We have an amazing team and the vibe one the set is healthy and friendly, all thanks to our producers. I’ve been working with Sanjay ji and Binaiferr ji for the last 15 years. I’ve done FIR, Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain! , May I Come In Madam, Excuse Me Madam and now this show. So that says it all. They take good care of their staffs and make everyone comfortable. They are dedicated to their work and in return wants our loyalty towards our work which is only valid,” he praises the producers.
