‘Appa’s’ lockdown trick worked for ‘Almost Sufal Sampurn’
The entertainment sector faced crisis during the Corona Lockdown. The channels and production houses started shoots under very difficult conditions. But it was really risky for the artists to work in these scary environment of Corona virus pandemic. At the same time, daily travel is an invitation to infection. According to government rules, senior citizens above the age of 65 were not allowed on the set till yesterday. However, this rule did not apply to 64-year-old Appa Ketkar, i.e. veteran actor Sunil Godbole.
But no matter what, it was important for the senior citizens to take utmost care. As Appa’s character is the backbone of the storyline of the serial, his role could not be compromised. Though Sunil Godbole had no restrictions to shoot it was important to not get infected. So he and the team ‘Almost Sufal Sampurn‘ came up with a trick.
Appa a.k.a.Sunil Godbole made a big decision to take care of his own health and not let down audience. He has been living away from his own family since the day he started shooting for the serial. He in collaboration with Zee Yuva channel started staying in the same shoot bungalow. Soham Productions, who are producers, too took care of him as to not put him to any inconvenience.
Sunil Godbole has been staying on set for the last 50 days. So the tactics of Appa, Zee Yuva team and Sohum Productions have worked and the the shoot of ‘Almost Sufal Sampurn’ is progressing smooth fully.
