‘Ashiqui’ actor Rahul Roy to play antagonist in ‘Sayonee’
90s heartthrob and Aashiqui actor, Rahul Roy, who was all set to promote his forthcoming film “Sayonee” recently suffered a brain stroke in Kargil and was subsequently rushed to a Mumbai hospital after being airlifted to Srinagar.
“Thankfully the actor is responding well to the Treatment is now ‘out of danger’. He is still in the hospital recovering.. In Kargil due to extreme weather condition he suffered brain stroke.. Now his condition is normal, just he is having a vocal problem, Problem in making up sentences”, says actor Tanmay Singh.
Rahul was all excited and looking forward to the promotions of “Sayonee”. In this film, Rahul will be seen playing the role of an Indo-Russian cop. In fact he will be seen in a different avatar as antagonist. Team sayonee wishes him a speedy recovery
“My character in the film Sayonee is very unpredictable. The one takeaway regarding the whole, Tanmay and my equation is that we dont know whether he is a good guy or a bad guy, but he wants to use Tanmay’s character to kill everyone because I am a Cop, you will get to know exactly the kind of Cop I am as you see the film. So this film and character is very different from what I have done before” Rahul Roy quoted during the last press meet of the film ‘Sayonee’.
