Rating: * 1/2
Juvenile!
Champak (Riteish Deshmukh) and his friends Gulab (Arora) and Genda (Thapa)attempt a bank robbery, but top cop Amjad Khan( Vivek Oberoi) is bent upon double-crossing them. Even while they hatch an escape plan, a third player gets ready to rob them of their glory.
Plus Points:
Bhuvan Arora and Vikram Thapa impress while as a TV reporter though it is nothing but a juvenile script which seems to be inspired from Hollywood ‘stoned’ comedies that fail miserably in pasting a smile on your face.
Minus Points:
Riteish Deshmukh hams and hams while Vivek Oberoi tries to rise above the script but falls flat.. Baba Saigal bores you to death with his one liners. Rhea has just been wasted in an inane role There’s simply no scope for songs in the run-time of the film and that only makes us sigh a breath of relief. It is pathetic that a banner like that of Yash Chopra which has given us wholesome films in the past has come out with this one.
The Verdict:
The film falls flat in its attempt to make you laugh your guts out. The makers have tried to tackled it in such a juvenile manner that it ends up a mockery – a joke on itself. Watch it at your own risk, if you are fond of having a bumpy journey.
