‘Bappa’s blessings are always with me’, believes Devdatta Nage

Actor Devdatta Nage received immense popularity with Khandoba’s role in ‘#JaiMalhar’. Now he’s riding viewer’s hearts with an adorable character in ongoing Zee Yuva serial ‘Doctor Don’. As the Ganapati festival arriving, Bappa has become a family member on the sets of ‘Doctor Don’. The festival allowed Devdatta to visit his home in Alibaug as he has managed two days off from the shoot.

Ganapati festival is my favourite festival and as his childhood was spent in Pen, the place for most beautiful Ganesh idols. ‘I spent my childhood in Pen and as you know it is considered to be the abode of Ganpati Bappa’s idols. I used to sculpt Ganapati idol too. And I feel with Bappa’s blessings I got an opportunity to portray Khandoba. I kept Ganapati idol for three years at my place and it was one of the most satisfying feelings. I cherish all my Bappa memories which will always be with me’, said beaming Devdatta.
