“Bella Ciao” gets Hindustani twist by Furtados School of Music

During the national lockdown a lot of web series are gaining popularity. One of the most popular being Spanish “Money Heist”. It is topping the popularity charts and it’s music too is hugely appreciated. It’s song ‘Bella Ciao’ has, sort, become world anthem. ‘Bella Ciao’ meaning ‘Goodbye Beautiful’ is an Italian folk song that was used as an anthem for the anti-fascist resistance and used worldwide as a hymn of freedom. And now, as the world quarantines throughout a global coronavirus pandemic, “Bella Ciao” has become a song of solidarity. Now this international song gets a Hindustani Twist.

The current pandemic has surely changed the course of living for many individuals. In hopes of coping up with new form of living, we have witnessed many trends that have gotten the attention on social media platforms of all those quarantined at home! Many entertainment channels and (now online) educational portals are rising up to these trends and offering something new to all viewers. Similarly, the students of Furtados School of Music have come up with their very own cover of the charts topping song, “Bella Ciao” from the famous series – Money Heist.

Furtados School of Music brings to you one of the best song cover of famous TV series of all time! Music is one of the key aspects in one’s life that holds the power to light up the environment and energizing it with positive vibes. The students of FSM have held onto that fact and picked up their musical instruments to light up our quarantine days. However, there is twist in this music video. The students of Furtados School of Music have indeed shown their talent and are also giving us all a quite good idea of the prime quality of music teachings provided by FSM.

Instead of keeping the song cover faithful to just keyboard chords and guitar strings, the students have beautifully added beats of the table, giving it a Hindustani twist!
