Bhagyashree Mote will play Parvati in Star Pravah’s ‘Deva Shri Ganesha’
In the present trying times of Covid 19 pandemic, celebrating festival publicly is barred due to restrictions laid down by the government. But that won’t dampen the enthusiasm of devotees because Ganpati Bappa is our most adored and cherished deity. With just a few days left for Bappa’s arrival, Star Pravah is bringing a magnificent series of Ganpati special episodes on the occasion of Ganeshotsav. Lockdown laden 11 days of Ganeshotsav, Star Pravah is planning to bring home, viewer’s home, Bappa in the form of a serial ‘Deva Shri Ganesha’. In this special series of Bappa, actress Bhagyashree Mote will be seen as Maa Parvati. The makers released a special glimpse of Bhagyashree’s look. The grandeur of the series can be seen from Bhagyashree’s rich look. Bhagyashree’s look is designed by Shibapriya Sen. Though Parvati’s look is revealed, It is still not known who’ll be playing Ganapati Bappa.
Speaking about this magnificent serial, Bhagyashree Mote said, “I am very happy that after I played Devyani on Star Pravah, I, once again, am getting to be part of this magnificent series ‘Deva Shri Ganesha’ on the same channel. I was overwhelmed when I saw myself as Parvati. A lot of hard work has gone behind this look. It is a great thing for me to be able to perform the gentleness of Mother Parvati and her exasperating vexation, anger simultaneously. I am looking forward to shoot of ‘Deva Shri Ganesha’.’
This is the first time in the history of Marathi television that such a big budget series has come to fruition. Star Pravah’s magnum opus serial ‘Deva Shri Ganesha’ will start telecasting from 22nd August at 8.30 pm. Swastik Productions of Siddharth Kumar Tiwari, a well-known producer who has done great series like Mahabharata and Radhe Krishna, has taken up the challenge of making this great serial. The entire team, of Star Pravah and Swastik Productions, is working day and night to make this series a reality. The magnificent set of the series is coming up in Umargaon and the shooting will start soon.
Ganapati Bappa is considered the master of 64 arts but we don’t know much about the many mysteries behind these things. This unique series will try to show the things that you have never heard or seen from the birth of Bappa to even his marriage. In the special series of 11 episodes ‘Deva Shri Ganesha’, 11 myths which have been heard but little is known about it, will be revealed. Never before in the history of Marathi serials has such an experiment been done. Therefore, in this year’s Ganeshotsav, Star Pravah will bring a unique piece of mythological entertainment.

The 11 part series ‘Deva Shri Ganesha’ will air from August 22 at 8.30 pm. on Star Pravah.
