Seven Brides For Seven Brothers is a Hollywood movie which was adapted in Hindi to make Satte pe Satta. One of Amitabh Bachchan’s most celebrated film, Satte Pe Satta has evidently become the most interesting and funny films throughout the years. Even after 38 years of the film, it is one of the most engrossing films and has over the years garnered immense popularity. Ravi’s most entertaining “The Calendar Family” : The film has uncountable hilarious scenes, which will make you laugh out loud throughout the film. The calendar family scene takes place when Amitabh Bachchan’s character Ravi brings home Hema Malini’s character Indu in order to introduce her to his six brothers. As Indu enters the house, she is treated with all the six brothers pulling up various acts of foolishness. Ravi reveals that they are seven brothers in total and that their father named them over the days of the week. To this Indu is seen making a sarcastic comment to Ravi saying that he has a calendar family.
Big-B, Hema Malini and other renowned actors in a well plotted rom-com : The 1982 film featured an extensive cast including Hema Malini, Amjad Khan, Sachin, Prema Narayan, and Kalpna Iyer along with lead star Satte Pe Satta. The film evidently managed to entertain the audience back in 1982 not only in Bollywood but in regional cinema too. The film has been remade in Kannada and Marathi making its place in audience’s heart in other languages too.
Who doesn’t want’s a stress-buster family entertainer after a long day : It is exciting to watch the relationship between seven brothers as they fight, love and laugh together. The hilarious dinner table scene from the film is evidently one of the film’s many highlights. Here, the band of six brothers can be seen attacking the food cooked by Hema Malini’s character. Funnily, the six brothers do not jump on to eat the food until Amitabh Bachchan’s character walks in and gets food for himself first. This scene is the trigger point for the six brothers to leave their unhygienic and unsophisticated lives behind.
