Bramhastra’ is still in the making

Producer Karan Johar and director Ayan Mukherjee’s super-hero film ‘Bramhastra’ could be termed as the longest shoot-days film. Even after 170+ days of shoot it is still in the making. It was to be released last year but was postponed to the end of 2020. Written and directed by Ayan Mukerji, it stars Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Mouni Roy and Akkineni Nagarjuna in pivotal roles and will serve as the first film in a planned trilogy.

The trilogy film was officially announced in April 2018 with a planned release date of Christmas 2019 for part 1 but later pushed to Summer 2020 before being finally pushed to 4 December 2020. While on shoot, Amitabh  Bachchan, who is super active on twitter, tweeted ……

Also ‘Guilty’ actor, a web series being produced by Dharma Pradusctions, Gurfateh Singh Pirzada shared a picture from the sets of Brahmastra along with co-stars Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor and director Ayan Mukerji. A different angle to the picture posted by Big B.

Incidentally, Bramhastra Is scheduled for release on 4 December 2020 in standard formats, 3D, and IMAX.
