CINTAA pays homage to veteran actor Chandrashekhar!

Yesteryear actor #ChandrashekharVaidya, known as Chandrashekar, in the Indian film industry featured in 250 films. His character #AryaSumant from an epic serial ‘#Ramayana’ was very popular those days. It was revisited last year when ‘Ramayan’ had a rerun during pandemic forced lockdown. Chadreshekhar served as a #CINTAA chairman between the period 1985 to 1996. CINTAA officially released a condolence message as Chandrashekhar breathed his last on Wednesday morning, 16th June, ‘21, at the age of 97.

We are grief stricken to learn that our beloved Chandrashekar ji attained the Lotus Feet of God, this morning.

An institution by himself, he crafted a niche, growing through the ranks in his long and illustrious career, spanning many decades in the world of Entertainment.

From a humble beginning starting as a Junior Artist in the year 1940, he reached the pinnacle of success by acting in over 250 films, enthralling his audiences always. He marked his presence noticeable even as a character actor, later on in Life, which only speaks volumes of his dedication and how much he loved his craft. He donned many hats by becoming a Producer and Director during the course of his career and was also an August Governing council member in many of the associations.

For us at CINTAA & CAWT, the sadness is indomitable even to express through our words. Being CINTAA President for the years 1977-1987, his contribution to our association was extremely significant and his voice, wisdom & opinions mattered the most. Loving & caring he always strived for the well-being and betterment of his fellow members and such noble virtues of his, only strengthens unity & brotherhood. The lessons he taught us is what we cherish and we will continue to function in the manner he guided us.

Praying for his soul to rest in Eternal peace, we express our Heartfelt Condolences to his family members that they garner enough strength in this moment of grief.

We aren’t saying a good bye because Chandrashekar ji lives in our heart for ever.
