‘Content Ka Keeda’ rises from 1000 subscribers to 30,000 in just a year
While this year has been harsh on all of us due to the pandemic, it did bring some hope and sunshine in Shivankar Arora and his sister Shipra’s Arora’s lives. The brother-sister duo started their own YouTube channel Content Ka Keeda, which has grown immensely. “This year is lucky for me as I started my own YouTube channel Content Ka Keeda. Initially, where we struggled to get our first 1,000 subscribers, now we have crossed 30,000 subscribers and we are growing as we speak. The lockdown was tough but my Channel made me get up every day and work hard. While we were all struggling during the lockdown, Shipra and I made sure to post one video every week, no matter what and that’s what kept us going,” he says.
Shivankar feels privileged to have got this time to work on his skills as well. “During my time at home, I really concentrated on scriptwriting and editing. I never knew I could do any of those things but due to Covid-19 and limited resources, I had to learn. Now it has turned into my new found passion,” he says.
The channel has a lot of noteworthy content and has garnered a lot of praise. In fact, their short film, Love Knows No Gender, even bagged a lot of awards, which was the highlight of Shivankar’s year. “Winning awards for our film Love Knows No Gender was one of our biggest achievements. As of now, we have 13 awards and have crossed 5.5 lakh views on our channel in less than 15 days!” he exclaims.
He is eagerly waiting to see how people react to their next short film. “We really want to see the response we get on our upcoming Christmas film, A letter to Santa. I am super excited for this one,” he says.
