Contestant Meyitemsu and Malaika Arora share a common nickname, revealed on India’s Best Dancer Season 2!

#SonyEntertainmentTelevision’s dance reality show #IndiasBestDancer – Season 2 is back to entertain the audience with its amazing talent. Season 2 will celebrate the ‘Best Ka Next Avtar’ and will showcase some phenomenal talents coming from across the nation. We hear that the judges, also known as the E.N.T (Entertainment, Newness and Technique) specialists – Geeta Kapur, Terence Lewis and Malaika Arora are already mind-blown in the audition round itself. The stage that changed the life of many aspiring dancers last season is back to provide the right platform yet again albeit on a much grander scale.

Meyitemsu Naga, who hails from Nagaland, impressed the judges with his performance on the song, ‘Ishq Walla Love’ in the audition round. A quirky personality, Mayitesmu showcased his smooth moves with utmost refinement and finesse. Choreographer and judge Geeta Kapur who has inspired many young talents, liked Meyitemsu’s performance so much so that she went onto give him a standing ovation.

Post his performance, Meyitemesu revealed to the judges that he cannot speak Hindi and can only communicate in either ‘English’ or his mother tongue ‘Nagamese’. Furthermore, as Meyitemsu’s unique name was nothing short of a tongue twister for the judges, he asked the judges to call him, ‘Me’ as it is his nickname. This led to an interesting revelation as judge Malaika Arora also went onto reveal that she also shares a similar nickname as her family calls her, ‘Mimi’! This came as a surprise even to her close friends and fellow judges – Terence Lewis and Geeta because it’s a very unknown aspect about Malaika’s otherwise very public life.

Post this fascinating revelation and receiving such a positive feedback from the judges, an excited Meyitemsu Naga, shares, “Dance is my passion and I am so happy that the judges appreciated my performance and my talent. I really want to give my best throughout the show and win the trophy of India’s Best Dancer 2 as a gift for my parents. This is just the beginning, I promise to do whatever it takes and prove my mettle as not just a good dancer but as a respected artist”

Tune in to watch Meyitemsu’s journey on India’s Best Dancer 2, starting 16th October, every Saturday and Sunday at 8:00 pmonly on Sony Entertainment Television.
