Coolie No 1 wrapped up

Govinda starrer Coolie No 1, which was released in 1995, was a blockbuster. Directed by David Dhawan, it was a laugh riot and Govinda’s double role was the highlight of the film, and so was Karisma Kapoor’s innocent charm. Kadam Khan played a pivotal role which helped movie in cashing in many laughters. Those days David Dhawan and Govinda’s director-actor ‘jodi’ was in full form and they have given many hit films together. David Dhawan, some time back, remade hit blockbuster film ‘Judwaa’ with his son Varun Dhawan, whi himself is an accomplished star-actor. ‘Judwaa 2’ went on to become super hit and now father-son ‘Jodi of David Dhawan and Varun Dhawan are coming up with another remake.

‘Coolie No 1’ is being remade by director David Dhawan and Varun Dhawan, Sara Ali Khan, Paresh Rawal play lead roles. The film wrapped in Goa and now will go in for post production. This is David Dhawan’s 45th directorial film. The Coolie No 1 team posed on the Goa beach. Sara Ali Khan and Varun Dhawan were seen posing with the entire team. Pooja Entertainment’s Coolie No 1, directed by David Dhawan, starring Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani and Deepshikha Deshmukh, is all set to release on May 1, 2020.
