No FIR has been Registered against Builder Raees Lashkarai, after slab gives way to SRA building which injured 4 inmates in flat at Andheri West, CTS No. 249.

The Complainants were “ill-treated” at police stations. “It seems as the Sr. P.I. Parmeshwar Ganme is working for the Errant builders and not for the state. As the Complainants were ask to submit their details along with medical reports which were written down by one of the constable on plain paper and were asked to leave the police station without any acknowledgement.

An FIR is the document that initiates criminal proceedings to punish the guilty.

Mumbai: Four persons, including a woman and a four year old, were injured when parts of the false ceiling of a flat in a residential building in Andheri (West) gave way, on Sunday afternoon.

A doctor at the Cooper hospital identified the injured as 24-year-old Sadiq Mohammad Habib, 25-year-old Nadiya Firoz Kalesha, 50-year-old Habib Mohammad and four-year-old Arjan Kalesha. While Sadiq was discharged soon after receiving treatment, the other three are recuperating. They were stated to be stable.
Fire brigade sources said that the mishap occurred at around 2:13 pm in a flat located on the seventh floor of Vishal building (A-1 wing), located in the vicinity of Reliance Hostel on the Kama Road, Andheri (west). The building, was built under the Slum Rehabilitation Authority (SRA) scheme. A slab from the false ceiling of the flat gave way. The four inmates of the flat are believed to have been injured when they came under the falling debris.
Sources at the DN Nagar police said the injured were shifted to the hospital by a Beat Marshal and locals.
