‘Dawaat E Ishq’ actor Akash Mukherjee is now a part of ‘Gupta Brothers’
Speaking about Alok Gupta, in Gupta Brothers, Akash Mukherjee says ,”Alok is the middle brother of Gupta Brothers and very good in mathematics and he doesn’t need a calculator. Gupta Brothers are extremely respectful towards women but they will never get married.”
Mahesh and Madhu Pandey’s new show Gupta Brothers has actor Akash Mukherjee essaying the role of Alok a guy who is good with mathematics. Akash, who was born in Jamshedpur and brought up in Ranchi, has already done a film with Yash Raj Films – Dawaat E Ishq. Speaking about his career he says,”My first show was Dance Sangram a dance reality show where Saroj Khan was the judge. Then I was part of Habib Faisal’s Daawat-e-Ishq. Post that, I did a few acclaimed Bengali films like Bidyesh, Ek Mutho Roddur.”
Actor Hiten Tejwani is playing the elder brother of the family, and Akash is enjoying Hiten’s company on the set. He adds,”Hiten Tejwani is very humble and he gives me that brotherly vibes on set, I am lucky to share the screen with him.” Speaking about the captain of the ship Mahesh Pandey Akash feels he has found a mentor in him. He says,” We are shooting in this pandemic situation but on set, we all have a very positive atmosphere Without work we can’t sit idle for long. Work has to start and we actors are happy to resume again. I have worked with Mahesh Pandey in Vidya too and he has liked my work. In real life, I am a very shy, introvert person Mahesh Pandey gave me the comfort and always showed faith in me. That’s why I consider Mahesh Pandey as my mentor.”
Akash has a very interesting insight about working on television. “Television has given us the opportunity to entertain people on a daily basis. In this pandemic situation, people who are stuck at home are getting connected with us through our show. I am thankful that I get to entertain the audience. As an actor, I am focused on Alok Gupta now and I am hoping that the audience will love my role and my effort works for the show.”
