Director Sahil Mahala’s web series “King Sweety” commenses shoot!

The Muhurat of director #SahilMahala’s web series ‘King Sweety’ took place at a studio in Mumbai and the shooting started immediately after that. #PreetySapru, who was present as the chief guest on the occasion, said, “Sahil is a very talented director. This is the first project of the producer. I wish this project which started from auspicious muhurat turns out to be a good project. Now cinema making is completely changed, everything has become digital. There are so many platforms today that there are many opportunities for everyone. I wish luckto the makers of ‘King Sweety'”.

Director Sahil Mahala said, “I would like to thank the chief guest Preety Sapru ji for gracing the auspicious muhurat and giving us her blessings. It is a comedy series. In today’s era people are upset and sad. I am trying to remove negativity around them by making them laugh.”

Daya Shankar Pandey who is playing an important role in the web series said, “It is a new role for me and I am very excited about it. One of my web series Faadu is releasing on Sony Liv. Also a film is Dedh Bigha Zameen is ready. Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is running successfully. It has been almost 15 years since this comedic serial started airing. I am working with director Sahil ji for the first time, he is very passionate about his work.”

Sadanand Verma said, ‘This is a horror comedy web series and I am adding horror to it. Daya Shankar Pandey is a very creative and experienced artist. My look and character in this series is unique. I have not played any character like this till now in my career.”

King Sweety is being produced by Deepika Chaudhary. She said, “Seeing Sahil ji’s concept and his passion, I joined this project. It has a good cast and the subject will entertain people.” Director Sahilvsais, “Deepika Chaudhary is a very good and supportive producer who gives complete creative freedom to me.”
