Divya Kumar performed live at the music launch of ‘Kooki’ at Gueahati!
The music launch event of the highly anticipated film Kooki took place with much fanfare at the #Rongalifestival held at Khanapara Field in Guwahati. The event was marked by a spectacular live performance from popular Bollywood singer Divya Kumar, who enthralled the audience with his captivating voice.
The event saw the release of two eagerly awaited songs from the film, Paani Ya Tezab sung by the renowned Sunidhi Chauhan and Tu Kyun performed live by #DivyaKumar
In addition to the songs, the second trailer of Kooki was also unveiled, providing a deeper insight into the film’s gripping narrative and intense performances.
The music launch was graced by the presence of several key members of the Kooki team, including Sourabh Mahanta, Tapan Jyoti Dutta, Pallab Talukdar, Ibson Lal Barua, Gyan Gautam, Ritisha Khaund, Udayan UD, Kaushik Barua, Nishanka Khaund, Pranab J. Deka, Dr. Junmoni Devi Khaund and Divya Kumar.
The launch event was a celebration of the immense talent and creativity that has gone into the making of Kooki. The film, which is based on a true story and addresses the serious issue of gang rape, promises to be both poignant and powerful.

Kooki is a sensitive and compelling film inspired by the true story of a minor girl who is a victim of gang rape. The film stars Ritisha Khaund in the title role and features performances by Devoleena Bhattacharjee as a journalist, among others. The music, composed by talented music directors Sourabh Mahanta, Tapan Jyoti Dutta, and Pallab Talukdar, with lyrics by Ibson Lal Barua, adds a profound layer to the narrative.
The film is set to release in theatres on 28th June.
