During another lockdown birthday, Chandni Soni’s daughter bakes a cake for her!

In these bleak times being with family during special occasions means more than anything else. Producer #ChandniSoni feels lucky that her loved ones were with her when she celebrated her birthday on April 27.

“My family makes my every birthday very special and memorable. Given the crisis we all are facing, we did not want to make things grand when so many people are suffering. At the same time, we wanted to create a positive environment around us. So this time, my birthday was a private affair,” says Soni, who had backed web series’ such as Tandoor and Raktanchal.

Given that there is a lockdown in Delhi, Soni was not expecting anything at all. “So I was pleasantly surprised when my daughter Nandini wished me at 12 midnight with a cake. She baked a special chocolate cake for my birthday and I was so touched. I have no words… Turning a year wiser never felt this special,” she sounds happy before adding that such gestures of love that come directly from the heart is fulfilling.

So what did she wish for her birthday while blowing her candles? “My only birthday wish is that this pandemic ends soon and our life goes back to normal. I want the world to heal, become a better and kinder place,” she signs off.
