‘DZK’ actress Alma Hussein reveals her fitness mantra of leading a healthy lifestyle!

With an empowering and strong narrative, the show sheds light on the pressing issue of gender disparity in the workplace and how a woman fights against all odds to fulfil her dreams. This being her first stint on television, model turned actress Alma Hussein who essays the character of Dr. Sia Advani has impressed the audience with her charming personality. While shoot keeps her busy most of the time, Alma ensures that she makes time to exercise as she is very particular about her fitness and diet. The actress reveals her fitness mantra of leading a healthy lifestyle.
Revealing her fitness mantra, Alma Hussein said, “To me, fitness means being happy from within and feeling healthy. No matter what activity you do, be it running or exercising, it is bound to make you fitter if it gives you a sense of satisfaction. I always try to keep a tab on the portion of whatever I eat. A healthy and balanced diet is crucial as our body needs several nutrients to stay fit. I fuel myself with a heavy breakfast and lunch and, more importantly, keep my body hydrated by drinking lots of water. I generally don’t work out daily since I have a very hectic schedule at shoots. It is 3-4 days a week that I try to catch up with my workout session. I strongly believe that the person who feels healthy and is super-charged is always fit”.
