Eco-friendly Bappa at Bardapurkar residence

Awareness regarding environment has been increasing day by day. For the last few years, many are stressing to install an eco-friendly Ganapati idols in houses or stalls. As the ongoing Ganapati festival doesn’t have every year’s fervour, people are still happy because with the arrival of Bappa, negativity around has vanished.

The common people celebrate all festivals traditionally. The importance of Ganeshotsav is unique in Maharashtra, which has a distinct tradition and culture.  Everyone looks forward to this festival. For the last fourteen years, Akshay Bardapurkar, head of Planet Marathi, brings Bappa home and this year too he has brought an eco-friendly idol. However, this year, this festival is being celebrated in a very systematic and limited manner keeping in mind the social distancing norms.

Even celebrities have restricted celebration this year due corona virus pandemic. Bardapurkar family has welcomed Bappa with enthusiasm like previous fourteen years. One wish is common this year, i.e. eradication of corona virus as early as possible.
