Experience ‘#TigerSafari’ in #JehangirArtGallery!

Photography has been a passion for #HemantSawant and sooner he got hooked onto wild life photography. It requires a lot of patience as the animals are unpredictable. But this talented photographer has captured some captivating moments through his lenses.

An exhibition of tiger photographs by photographer Hemant Sawant, which is based on the tiger lifestyle, is being held from November 23, 2021 at Jehangir Art Gallery. Sawant has been traveling ‘jungle to jungle’ for the last several years. At the time of study of tigers’ lifestyle in the forests of Kanha, Bandhavgad, Panha, Melghat, Tadoba, Pench, Ranthambore, Jim Corbett, he captured important moments of tigers through his lenses.

He has captured many mood of Tiger, viz. a happy tiger, a lazy tiger, an aggressive tiger and an agile tiger. A tiger with a spruce move, the clan of tigers running out from the water with friends, a female tiger is taking care of her cubs were also were shot through his camera.

In addition, videos have been arranged to listen to his experiences. About 50 photographs will be presented at exhibition and the exhibition will be inaugurated at the hands of Mr. Mukul Wasnik who is General Secretary of the All India Congress Committee and a lover of wildlife photography. This exhibition will be held on 23rd November at 5 pm and Mr. Kekubhai Kothari, an expert in the field of photography, as well as Mr. Suresh Shetty, former Health Minister and Photography practitioner and Director of Shari Photography Mr. Girish Mistry will also be present.

From 23rd to 29th November 2021, this exhibition will be opened to the public from 11 am. to 7 pm. Hemant Sawant has appealed to people “enjoy the tiger show”.
