‘Farm-to-Home’ vegetables and fruits platform, KisanKonnect will p articipate in the Ganesh Poojas at 2,000 families in Maharashtra!

As entire Maharashtra is set to welcome the Lord Ganesha as part of the forthcoming Ganesh Festival starting 10th September, KisanKonnect, India’s fastest growing farmer-led online ‘Farm-to-Home’ vegetables and fruits platform, will participate in the Ganesh Poojas being conducted at over 2,000 families in Mumbai and Pune in a unique way. In first-of-its-kind initiative in Maharashtra, the Bandhus of KisanKonnect will worship the Ganesha with farm-fresh Marigold Flowers to be sent specially across 2,000 households in Mumbai and Pune during the Ganesh Festival.
KisanKonnect will send Marigold Flowers along with the vegetables and fruits baskets to be ordered by various families during the Ganesh festival. The families can use these flowers for Ganesh Pooja or for decoration. These flowers will be provided complimentary.
Commenting on the initiative, Dr Vinod Gunjal, Agronomist, KisanKonnect, said, “Marigold flowers are considered auspicious for religious ceremonies. By sending farm-fresh flowers with every vegetable basket, KisanKonnect would be able to participate in the celebrations and joy of this festival, as these flowers could be used for Ganesh Poojas or decorations.”
KisanKonnect is expected to see a manifold increase in the vegetables and fruits orders during the Ganesh Festival. During the Ganesh Festival, KisanKonnect Bandhus are set to offer a variety of farm-fresh, hygienic and safe-to-consume vegetables and fruits through its online platform of a dedicated App and the Website.
KisanKonnect to provide Ganesh Pooja Baskets, Gauri Sweets, Ganpati Naivedya and Modaks from Mom’s Kitchen, Maharashtra’s first Rural Home Kitchen: On the occasion of Ganesh Festival, KisanKonnect is offering customised combo baskets such as Ganesh Pooja Baskets, Gauri Sweets, Ganpati Naivedya to provide people with various necessities during the festival. With the help of ‘Mom’s Kitchen’, which is Maharashtra’s first women-driven Rural Kitchen for homemade food and which provides its snacking delicacies through KisanKonnect, various traditional sweets and snacks will be made available by the women from Shrirampur in Ahmednagar. Mom’s Kitchen’s women will provide hand-made Modaks, the most sought-after Maharashtrian delicacy for the Ganesh festival, to make the festival sweeter.
