Fascinating facts about the Mr. Perfectionist, Aamir Khan!
Aamir Khan has been known as Mr Perfectionist in the film industry. He does things meticulously and that’s the reason his success rate of films is very high. Currently Aamir is busy in the post production of his upcoming film ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ and to avoid disturbances in work he has decided not to use his mobile till the release of the film. It shows his dedication towards his work and passion for cinema because most of us today cannot function without our mobiles.
Earlier too Aamir has done fascinating things to bring authenticity to his portrayals. During the shooting of Lagaan, Aamir was supposed to wear an earring through the the movie. He had an option of using an earring without piercing his ears but Aamir insisted on piercing his ears so that his Hindu character in the period drama should look authentic.
With ‘Taare Zameen Par’ Aamir debuted as a director wherein he played a drawing teacher. Again to bring authenticity to his character he learnt Drawing. In ‘Baazi’ he performed a cabaret in a guise of a girl and for that he waxed his entire body. Aamir debuted with ‘Qyamat se Qyamat Tak’ and as the actors and director were new the movie was made on a shoe-string budget. Knowing that, Aamir with the help of an assistant used to put up the film posters on buses and auto rickshaws.
Today is Aamir Khan’s birthday. It is a custom for him to make a resolution to learn a new thing. He has learnt Marathi language and has learnt cooking from his mother.
