#FilmPolicy of Jammu and Kashmir was launched by the Lt #GovernorManojSinha in the presence of film industry representative!
There was a time when every next movie used to shoot in Kashmir. The audiences too used to enjoy the scenic beauty of Kashmir. After socio-political upheaval in the valley the filmmakers could not shoot there. Now after some efforts from the political circles Jammu and Kashmir is getting back to normalcy of sorts.
The film industry has always been keen to shoot their films in Jammu and Kashmir instead of spending exorbitantly in European locations. Film Policy of Jammu and Kashmir was launched by the Lt Governor Manoj Sinha in the presence of Actor Aamir Khan, Filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani and Producer Mahaveer Jain in Srinagar this evening.
The idea is to make the state a shooting paradise by providing apt facilities and secured environment for the filmmakers. The details of the policy can be seen in the official website (http://www.jkfilm.jk.gov.)
that has also been launched at this occasion.
