Filmmaker Aneeta Patel loves Bigg Boss 14, it’s tagline and of course the host
Filmmaker Aneeta Patel is loving the current season of Bigg Boss. She says that right from the tag line to the concept of seniors Siddharth Shukla, Hina Khan and Gauahar Khan staying in the house for the first few weeks, everything has worked for the show. “I love Bigg Boss, the tag line is perfect, kaaynaat ne zindagi palat di hum sab ki toh you can’t have a better tag line or a better host for the show that has everyone hooked on. You can love it or hate it but you can’t ignore it. Also, the hot seniors were also amazing to watch. It was a great move, I wished they stayed longer though,” says Aneeta, who is known for her directorial web series Girl Talk as well as short films She’s D One featuring Sharad Malhotra, The Bar with Sudhanshu Pandey and The Meeting with Navdeep Chabbra. Aneeta has also written the poem titled Chalo, featuring Sharad.
The filmmaker says that the seniors made the show interesting as different contestants reacted differently to them. “I think the contestants were insecure of the seniors instead of learning from them. The seniors made the show more fun, some contestants opened up, the rest are just running around like headless chickens,” she says.
Ask her how she feels the contestants are performing this year, and she says, “I feel the girls are a lot bolder in talking their minds than the boys. The boys are still kind of warming up. I like Jasmin (Bhasin), although I would love to see her express herself more, Pavitra (Punia) speaks her mind and says the good, bad and ugly. She and Eijaz (Khan) sizzle up the show sometimes. The chupa rustam of the show I feel is Rahul because nobody has him figured out.”
Aneeta wants to see actor Karan Patel in the house. “I’d love to watch Karan in the house, he speaks his mind and has a spine. He has looks and is also intelligent,” she says.
The filmmaker also loves the host of the show Salman Khan. “Well, from the pink and purple tight pants in Judwaa to now, Salman Khan only seems to get better with each passing year, he’s as hot as it gets and he has all of us drooling,” says Aneeta.
