FWICE sends notice to the hospital for leaking video of Rishi Kapoor from ICU
A notice has been issued to Mumbai’s Sir HNRilliance Foundation Hospital in connection with the leak of Rishi Kapoor’s videos. This notice has been sent by the film body. Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE). Federation President BN Tiwari, General Secretary Ashok Dubey and Treasurer Gangeshwar Lal Srivastava and Advisor Ashok Pandit have informed about this. FWICE has lodged a protest on the video of Rishi Kapoorji, which went viral from HN Hospital’s ICU. The video is unethical, it is made without permission. This violates the fundamental rights of a veteran living a noble and dignified life. ”
The hospital administration has given clarification in this matter. Reply to the notice reads, “We have come to know that the video of one of our patients is going viral on the digital platform. Patient privacy and privacy is paramount for Sir HH Reliance Foundation Hospital and we are committed to this and condemn it. Hospital management is investigating the case. Strict action will be taken against those found guilty.”
The video went viral only on 30 April. On 30 April, 67-year-old Rishi Kapoor, who was battling cancer, breathed his last in the hospital’s ICU. The same day, a video of him went viral on social media, showing how the actor’s breath was breaking at the last moment. Some other videos also are making rounds on social media, including, Rishi’s son Ranbir was seen performing last rites on the bed of the hospital.
