Ganpati special serial by Star Pravah, ‘Deva Shri Ganesha’

Ganapati Bappa is Maharashtra’s most adored and cherished deity. With just a few days left for Bappa’s arrival, Star Pravah channel is bringing a magnificent serial on Ganpati in special episodes for the audience on the occasion of Ganeshotsav. The serial will air on August 22 at 8.30 pm. In this time of crisis in Corona, Ganpati Utsav is limited. However, Star Pravah will bring Ganpati Bappa to viewer’s home during the 11 days of Ganeshotsav in the form of ‘Deva Shri Ganesha’.
We have been hearing many things about Ganapati Bappa who is the master of 64 arts since childhood. But we don’t know much about the many mysteries behind these things. This unique serial will try to show the things that you have never heard or seen from the birth of Bappa to even marriage. To give an example, one should not look at the face of the moon during Ganeshotsav, lest one gets alleged for theft or gets entangled in a heavy conflict. It is common knowledge that Chandra (Moon) smiled when he saw Bappa’s humiliation and Bappa cursed him. But how about a Chandrakor on Bappa’s forehead inspire of Moon cursing. How did Bappa become Bhalchandra? The story, however, is not known to many. From the special series of 11 episodes ‘Deva Shri Ganesha’, 11 myths which have been heard but sparsely known, will be revealed. This is the first time in the history of Marathi television that such a big budget series has come to fruition on the occasion of Star Pravah’s ‘Deva Shri Ganesha’ series starting from 22nd August at 8.30 pm. Swastik Productions of Siddharth Tiwari, a well-known producer who has done great series like Mahabharata and Radhe Krishna, has taken up the challenge of making this great series. The entire team of Star Pravah and Swastik Productions are working day and night to make this series a reality. The grand set of the series is coming up in Umbergaon and the shooting will start soon.
