Girls from Small Town win National Titles at TIGP season 2!
TIGP, The International Glamour Project, successfully conducted it’s finale of season 2. Dr. Swaroop Puranik is a 42-year-old Indian Serial Entrepreneur and co-founder of TIGP which #Dr.AkshataPrabhu started in 2019. #Dr.SwaroopPuranik is a TEDx Speaker and IIM graduate with extensive experience in education; TIGP aims to promote women who have passion irrespective of their class. Their most important goal was to prepare these incredible, talented women by providing excellent training and taking them to the international stage.
Today Dr.SwaroopPuranik, through TIGP, has been providing a platform to many women who can now fulfil their dreams of representing their country globally. After the successful completion of Season 2, TIGP has entered Season 3 where they aim to expand themselves on their own OTT platform thus giving more exposure to their students and contestants.
Glamour is a colourful and beautiful world manifested in various forms. Under it, through people expresses their feeling, and with the changing times, people’s interest in glamour is on the rise. Earlier, models with physical appearance, good expression, ability, reasonable control of movements, body balance, high art, and attractive feelings were considered fit for glamour and pageantry, but ,Now the trends have changed. Robust, confident role models with a desire to prove themselves participate in pageants giving it a different look on the ramp, which excites the hearts of the audience; their fabulous nature, grit, and determination add a flavor to strength to the ramp, and ‘The International Glamour project’ is the organisation which is at the forefront in India to promote fashion and glamour to the interiors of the country.
The International Glamour Project, an organisation with a motto to give confidence to the women of today and a platform for them to express themselves, conducted its season 2 grand finale from April 10 to 13; the event’s grand finale took place at the “House of Lords” in Navi Mumbai. It was the final day of Season 2, featuring 32 women selected in two rounds on March 23 from over 100 contestants shortlisted from all over India. The women involved in this event were subjected to different challenges and tasks over four days, where they were tested mentally and physically. There was also a ramp walk performance by the women finalists, which was a highlight of the event. The grand event saw the likes of Bollywood actor Minissha Lamba, Maithili Bhosekar, Jui Paganis- International pageant winner, and Supermodel Shrikant Kamat.
Winner in Teen India category was Sejal Patil from Sangli, Miss India was Prashasaya Choudhari from Gujarat, and Sanika Lahane won from Mrs. India. Mrs. India’s Elite winner was Rozina Rana. Winners will get chance to represent India in international pageant and also get featured in webseries – The Journey of a Queen.
After the first season’s success, the journey till the end of the second season has been incredible for TIGP, a company founded by Dr. Swaroop Puranik. It has gone many steps ahead of its goal, and this company has prioritized the talent and skills of the contestants over looks and has taken great care that no discrimination should be seen in the pursuit of art. The contestants of TIGP agreed that their life had transformed after they joined TIGP. This platform is unique, where contestants who get selected get wide options to excel in from Pageantry to acting in short and feature films and from being a leader to a role model.
