Governor of Maharashtra Bhagat Singh Koshyari applauds ‘Karo Na Salaam’ campaign
2020 has been a year of many firsts for everyone on a global scale. We have experienced life like never before as we remain in the safety of our homes to prevent the increasing spread of the Covid-19 virus that is plaguing the world.
In these trying times, people have found innovative ways to share their gratitude towards one another. Whether it is their loved ones or the officials who are out on the street, in the hospitals, battling this pandemic so that everyone else is safe, the appreciation for all is being seen in every one of us.
Taking this feeling of gratitude a step further, Gautam Thakker and his team at Everymedia Technologies along with BJP Youth Leader Sayali Kulkarni, came together and shared a novel video under the ‘Karo Na Salaam’ campaign. The video salutes the real Covid Warriors like Mumbai policemen, medical professionals, municipality workers and their remarkable dedication in this situation.
The video that was released under this campaign went viral across the digital space. The sentiment that was evident in it touched a lot of hearts. From millions of likes to reshares and numerous positive comments, the audience showed its appreciation by embracing the gesture whole-heartedly. This powerful step made Everymedia Technologies one of the first companies to execute a purely digital campaign during this period on such a humungous scale.
Honourable Governor of Maharashtra, Shri Bhagat Singh Koshyari ji applauded the step taken by Gautam Thakker and Sayali Kulkarni to have acknowledged the work of the real heroes who are battling the coronavirus on the frontlines. Sharing his sentiment on this, Gautam Thakker shares, “I am extremely thankful to Shri Bhagat Singh Koshyari ji to have extended his appreciation for ‘Karo Na Salaam’. When Sayali Kulkarni and I discussed this idea, we aimed to do something to show our gratitude to the many government, police and medical professionals who stepped out of their houses every day during the pandemic just we all could stay safe. We wanted to do our bit for them and that is how we initiated the idea of this campaign. We will continue to show our respect for the frontline warriors and never forget their humungous contribution to our safety.”
Youth leader Sayali Kulkarni adds, “It is important for all of us to recognize the dedication that has been put in by so many of our COVID Warriors. Their efforts should not only be acknowledged but also celebrated. With ‘Karo Na Salaam’, we tried to do our part by giving the respect these brave hearts deserve. Gautam Thakker and I, we had the same vision for this campaign. It was a collaborated effort with Everymedia Technologies pushing it further in the digital spectrum. I am so honoured that our Governor, Shri Bhagat Singh Koshyari ji has praised our efforts. With this and the motivation we have gotten from the positive responses of the audience, we aim to take more steps like this in the near future.”
