Gurmeet Choudhary creates his very own “Tom Cruise moment” in ‘YKKA2’!

Gurmeet Choudhary, the newest addition to the #YehKaaliKaaliAnkhein universe, has become the ultimate surprise package for viewers. As the show is launched he is seen not only adding charm to the storyline, but also elevating the thriller quotient with his powerful performance.

The heartthrob who is known for playing diverse roles will now be seen as Guru, Purva’s friend who is on a mission to protect her. He will go to any lengths for it, even if that means jumping off a mountain with guns in both hands. From intense action to gripping drama, Gurmeet seamlessly delivers it all in Season 2!

Speaking about one of his most daring stunts and creating his very own “Tom Cruise moment in Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein Season 2,” Gurmeet shared: “I’m thrilled to be part of a Netflix project, especially one I loved watching when it first released. Siddharth Sengupta believed I would do justice to the role of Guru, and I wanted to give it my all. On the very first day of the shoot, I performed a stunt where I had to jump off a 500-foot cliff, held by a harness, while landing on my feet with two guns in hand. It truly felt like my Mission Impossible moment! There was no stunt double—it was just me—and I knew everyone was nervous since we had a long schedule ahead. Thankfully, the stunt went perfectly, and everyone has been talking about it since the trailer release.”
