Hairstylist Madhav Trehan says, ‘Open hair helps a lot to give a framing to your face’!

A lot of B’Town actresses cut their hair during the nationwide lockdown, and celebrity hairstylist Madhav Trehan was in love with their looks. He said, “As a hairstylist, I love short hair, so I thought it was good. You can just get a blunt haircut or a bob and it makes you look like a different person.”

He is the man behind Jacqueline Fernandez’s hair in “Genda Phool” and Nupur Sanon’s look in “Filhall”, and expressing his views on the hairstyle that will trend in 2021, he said, “You can’t say which specific hairstyle will become popular and whoever is doing hairstyling wants their style to become more popular, but I feel beach waves will be in the trend for sure.”

We are halfway through winters and Madhav suggested that to manage hair during this season one must moisturise their hair. He shared, “It’s difficult to manage hair during winter because the cold outside and the heat inside makes your hair dry. The best is to moisturise it with a conditioner or home remedies like coconut oil, avocado oil, or even aloe vera, they all are good in moisture.”

“Sometimes there is a static charge in the hair, because of woolen clothes, for that, you can use leave-in conditioners,” he added.

Though he loves ponytails as it looks quite girly, he feels that open hair frames ones face. “Open hair helps a lot to give a framing to your face and that’s very important,” he added.

Lastly, sharing how he decides on a particular hairstyle for a celebrity, Madhav said, “It’s not always decided what we are going to do. It’s all about the visualization of the face and how you read it, but it’s not like you have decided to do only one single hairstyle on a person, you can change it anytime.”
