Hema Malini sings for the first time on the occasion of Janmashtami
Continuing her devotional musical journey, this year too she has sung two devotional songs along with Shri Kavi Narayan Agrawal ‘Das Narayan’, Shri Anup Jalota and Shri Vivek Prakash. The lyrics of the first bhajan read as “Jis Prabhu Ne Ye Nayan Diye Hai Aur Diya Jivan Anmol” & the lyrics of the second bhajan read as “Sang Kishori bhula bhule Brij ke Nand Gopal”. This means Lord shri Krishna is playing with Radha and Smt Hema Malini is seeing it herself. These beautiful lines are written by Shri Kavi Narayan Agarwal while it is composed by Anup Jalota
The composition and lyrics of the Bhajan has a unique blend. Overall this a priceless gift for the Brijwasi’s and Krishna Bhakt’s all over the world. Bhajan’s like this will be heard and remembered for eternities to come.
Bhajan samrat Shri Anup Jalota says “On the auspicious occasion of Janmashtami with the blessings of Shri Krishna our two devotional songs have released today. I have a long association with Kavi Narayan Agarwalji and have sung one of the song with Hema Malini ji, as a singer and I must say she was extremely hard working and so efficient as a singer too and sounds seasoned . It was pleasure working with her, I am sure audience will love it too”
Smt Hema Malini says “This is my third year of association with Kavi Narayan Agarwalji. I am glad that my both my singles are releasing on the occasion of Janamashtami and it’s my token of respect and devotion towards lord krishna and brainwash devotees worldwide & what better day than this . I always wanted to explore singing aspect and with Narayanji have been instrumental in making me accomplish and enjoy this musical journey with Bhajan Samrat Anup Jalotaji. I sang a duet and it’s been an honour for me to sing with him and I am glad it is releasing and audience will enjoy hopefully the krishna bhajans and also I must thank Vivek prakash for composition of my bhajan ” jis prabhu ney ”
“Both the Bhajans are not a mere collection of words. It is a compounded set of words with enormous significance. We seek Lord Krishna’s blessings to help us get through this tough time. Guide us the way you lead Arjuna in the batter of Mahabharata” says Shri Kavi Narayan Agrawal ‘Das Narayan’
With these two bhajan, they are going to immerse the audience, fans and bhaktas in Bhakti Rang.
