The terrorists attack on 26/11 across Mumbai’s landmarks has scarred us forever. Honouring our martyrs, #EORTV launches a feature film today titled, #Sadhrakshanay, with versatile actors from Hindi and Marathi genres in a lead role. Produced by Dreamzz Images, the film is based on 26/11 attacks and the story of how Mumbai brave hearts fought till they triumphed against the terrorists
A stellar cast of Abhijeet Khandekar, Piyush Ranade, joins Raqesh Bapat in Sadrakshanaye which is EORTV’S 2nd Original. Popular actor Raqesh enacts the role of a senior Police Officer whose motto in life was to protect the weak, fight against the evil until his last breath and was a very protective warrior of his nation.
Piyush plays the role of a brave police inspector who is smart, intelligent, honest, a fighter till he wins and a great warrior of the nation. Speaking about the film Piyush Ranade said, “Sadhrakshanay will always be close to my heart. As a Mumbaikar one can never forget the dark day and be eternally grateful to cops and caregivers at various hospitals. We can never be done speaking about the incident and revisiting it. This role required a lot of study, research and self-discipline. I blindly followed Deepak ji’s lead, he really gave me and I believe all the actors a lot of creative space. I would urge audiences to watch the film on EORTV and share their feedback”
Deepak Pandey, Director, Sadrakshanay, stated, “We are humbled by all the appreciation and love shared by the industry and audiences for our first Originals, Game of the Seces, last month. Our second webseries is out on EORTV. It is my baby so it will be difficult for me to detach and give a neutral stance. The entire cast and crew worked very hard on this project, especially because it is a sensitive topic and setting the right tone was very important for us. It is our tribute to the martyrs, men in uniform and plain clothed citizens alike. I don’t think the loss can ever be recovered, we can only remember their sacrifice and express our gratitude. I hope it is well received by the audience”.
