‘I am dedicating my performance in “Indiawaali Maa” to my mother’, says Akshay Mhatre

Akshay Mhatre, who plays a lead in ‘Indiawaali Maa’, did not tell his mom about this project because he wanted her to watch this show’s promo. He has dedicated this performance to his real mother who felt utterly proud after watching the show’s first promo.

A Mother is certainly the most important human being in everyone’s life. Maa is a word that fills everyone with emotions. Her love for her child certainly cannot be compared with anything. Sony Entertainment Television upcoming show Indiawaali Maa portrays the love of a mother towards her son and spins around the fact that you’re never too old to need your mother and you can always reach out to her at any time of your life.

Akshay Mhatre, who is a known face in the television industry, has been roped in to play a pivotal role in the show. His character is that of a carefree boy who strives to face his difficulties on his own and does not really reach out to anyone to handle them himself.

On playing Rohan Akshay shares his excitement and says, “The whole concept of the show is something very close to my heart as the story spins around the mother’s love for her son and everyone related to it. I was very happy when I got the opportunity to essay the role of Rohan in Indiawaali Maa, as the storyline is very much different from the usual ones on television and a lot of youngsters could relate to my role too.”

Adding further to this, he said, “When I got this project, I did not tell my mom and directly made her watch the promo and the level of happiness, I saw on her face is million-dollar worthy for me as she could relate herself to Kaku  and will go up to any extent for me and I dedicated my performance to my mother.”
