I have Prabhas to help me translate my vision on the screen’, confesses ‘Adipurush’ director Om Raut

Ever since the poster of ‘Adipurush’, starring superstar Prabhas in the lead, is out, director Om Raut is consistently getting congratulatory messages. A few days back director Om Raut and superstar Prabhas created a storm across corners as they announced their upcoming project, ‘Adipurush’. Producer, actor Ajay Devgn’s  ’Tanhaji : The Unsung Warrior’ famed director has been working determinedly on this project and finally found the perfect fit for this magnanimous character in the South superstar. Raut shared the first poster followed by the motion poster which got the audience excited for this unique epic action-drama.

Sharing his thoughts about this association Om says, “Ever since I watched Bahubali, I was impressed by Prabhas. He is so subtle that we can relate and feel the depth of his characters. Adipurush is my dream project and dreams of a director cannot be accomplished without a team. I have Prabhas to help me translate my vision on the screen and our producer, Bhushan Kumar has been a pillar of strength and understanding with his unconditional support through this initial phase of our journey. It will be a great chance to work with both of them.”

He further adds, “I am very excited to be on the sets with Prabhas. While we were discussing the film, he showed a lot of enthusiasm about the storyline and has already started the prep for the same. He is meant for essaying larger-than-life roles and I am sure we as a team will deliver the best product to the audience”. 

Made under the banners of T-Series and Retrophiles Pvt. Ltd., the film is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Om Raut, Prasad Sutar, and Rajesh Nair. This Om Raut directorial ‘Adipurush’ is now in the pre-production stage and will hit the theatres by 2022.
