ILC contestant Radhe Shyam Bharti inspires host Rochelle Rao!
Ushering in laughter in comedic doses every weekend will be Sony Entertainment Television’s new show ‘#IndiasLaughterChampion’ which premiered on television last weekend on 11th June. With comedians from all across India coming and performing on the prestigious stage of the show, contestants are being judged by #ArchanaPuranSingh and #ShekharSuman. Hosted by #RochelleRao, the show sees new contestants every weekend along with new ‘#ComedyKeSarpanch’, who are popular Indian comedians. On Sunday judging the performance of the brilliant lineup of comedians as ‘Comedy Ke Sarpanch’ will be Suresh Albela. Among the contestants presenting different types of comedy like mimicry, skit will be ‘#HasyaKavi’ #RadheShyamBharti from Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh.
Impressing everyone with his wit and humour, Radhe Shyam Bharti is the oldest till now to perform on the stage of India’s Laughter Champion at 72 years of age. He performed stand up, talking about his wife and their “domestic bliss”. After the act received a standing ovation, an inspired Rochelle Rao came upon the stage to congratulate the comedian saying, “When I grow old I want to be just like you because the way you made us laugh, it was amazing.”
Archana Puran Singh added to the compliment by the host saying, “Radhe Shyam Ji the way you made us laugh and in the last four-five lines you even made us emotional with your poetry. It was brilliant!” Talking about his punchlines she said, “In a really beautiful way you showed us the different avatars of a woman. It was mindblowing!”
Shekhar Suman also showered upon the artist, his words of praise, “Radhe Shyam Ji I would like to give you a standing ovation once again. We are proud to have you here are the way you showed everyone that you are still young at heart, is inspiring. You spoke with such wisdom; I salute the youthfulness behind your thoughts!”
Radhe Shyam Bharti spoke about his experience in the show, “I am grateful to Sony TV for giving comedians like me a national platform like India’s Laughter Champion. Performing comedy is like breathing to me, it comes naturally, and it is essential for me to live. I am young at heart because of this genre, and I just preach living a joyful life to others as well. Through India’s Laughter Champion, I will be able to make a lot of people laugh and in that remains my pride and joy.”
